- To review & check HVAC designs, identify and define the requirements for the systems for the project
- Ensure the HVAC Ducts, Fittings, accessories chilled water pipes, fittings and accessories are available, inspected and approved prior to installation
- Ensure sufficient hand tools, power tools, ladders and scaffolds are available for installation
- Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure site clearance to start the HVAC Activities
- Arrange the sufficient manpower such as supervisors, foremen, duct and pipe fitters, assistants, labor and subcontractors, etc.., and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE prior to installation activities at site
- To plan and schedule installation works on sites to meet the time plan as per company requirements
- To supervise the foremen and labor working on site including subcontractors to ensure work is completed as per schedule and according to the client requirements
- Preparing the relevant documents to conduct testing & inspection means such as duct light testing for ducts and Hydro-test for above ground and underground chilled water piping systems
- To ensure that quality standards and safety regulations are achieved
- To provide solutions to problems that generally rises on site
- To submit daily, weekly and monthly reports for to the project / department Manager about material delivery and installations progress
- Ensure maximum service quality to meet customer expectations
- Identify corrective and preventive actions and follow up with the implementation, to enhance the operations and increase customer satisfaction
- To control material requisition and consumption to the minimum range for effective cost saving purposes
- To prepare monthly production report for all the activities on sites including check lists ensuring work is completed as per company standards, policies and procedures
- Visit and inspect the installation sites to make sure proper services are provided
- Oversee the work of personnel including allocation, training and problem resolution; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
- Preparation/review of shop drawings (with draftsmen) for submission to client for approval prior to installation of works
- Preparation/review of material submittals prior to submission to client for approval prior to procurement
- Review and confirm material purchase orders with aid of procurement officers prior to issuance
- Preparation of KFD smoke-management drawings and obtaining KFD approval
- Preparation of MEW drawings/calculations and obtaining MEW approval
- Prepare HVAC works progressive interim payments
- Coordination with company workshop/stores/fleet (Logistics department) for duct fabrication, material storage and delivery
