BASIC FUNCTIONS:
To plan, organize, direct and control the overall operations of the warehouse.
Manages stock control, the receipt, storage, retrieval and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works closely with clients, suppliers and the
transport companies Oversees inventory and coordinates shipping and receiving processes.
Keeps track of the stock levels .
Directs and coordinates the product movement
from the warehouse till the point of sale.
Filing all the records and documents pertaining to inward and outward movement of products properly and in a timely manner.
Helps in producing periodic stock reports.
Monitoring and setting storage space.
Makes sure that health and safety standards are met.
Implements solutions within designated area of responsibility also should be able to apply experience and expertise to research solutions.
Conduct and maintain appraisals as well as communicate feedback in a constructive way.
Maintain a strategic working relationship with team and all key departments.
Ensure that warehouse is being manage in a systematic and efficient ways to control the overall operations in stock handling and issues of materials keeping in view the economics, security and safety requirements.
Should identify suitable training for the
warehouse team.
Should assist early-level employees.
Communicate the defined warehouse organization policy and scope to all the warehouse staff. And to establish a fast pace working procedure in handling warehouse receiving and delivery operations.
Scope of work also covers Uniforms & Safety Equipment, Warehouse Housekeeping, Proper
Usage of Office Equipment & Minimize Stationery consumption. Also deal with rejected materials and tools from retail stores, accordingly.
