• Install and maintain production machines and equipment. Simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Speed of response to customer, punctual with schedule and arriving to customers on time.
• Quality of service.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Schedule regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment’s.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and materials handling equipment. Responsible for maintaining testing equipment used.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Submit required reports in a timely and organized manner.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations.
• Management of workforce at specific client sites.
• Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction is delivered, and suitable level of staff are supplied for individual tasks.
• Operational Management: ensure strict communications are kept between the Technical Supervisor and the operations department. Liaise with the Operations Manager and the Transport Manager to organize smooth maintenance plans.
• Operational Management: Ensure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are maintained for all tasks, regularly reviewed, communicated to and understood by all Operatives/Laborers within the Technical Supervisors area of responsibility.
