• Manages and updates ETA, ETD, ATA, ATD and shipment details with vendors.
• Coordinates with subsidiary companies the shipment requirements and scheduling.
• Ensures the timely flow of goods and services from the vendor/supplier to destination warehouse.
• Reviews processes regularly to streamline, improve throughput and reduce paper work and rework.
• Evaluates vendor delivery performance to assure highest possible service level and Identifies lead-time, process and cost improvement opportunities.
• Prepares and sends clearance documents for materials which are transported by road or air, or shipped by sea.
• Analyzes the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes and carriers.
• Tracks and manages inbound loads ensuring: timeliness, cost effectiveness; monitoring and reporting vendor delivery performance deficiencies.
• Manages shipment and transportation to reduce transit time
• Performs other duties as assigned
• having any supply chain experience is preferable
