The Foreman will be required to manage the field operations for projects.
The Foreman adjusts priorities to ensure maximum productivity and ensures that projects develop according to plans developed by engineers and consultants, on time and within budgetary guidelines.
• Reading and interpreting Shop drawings.
• Manage the construction manpower and manage the overall construction project.
• Keeping the job on schedule and effectively using the skills of all workers.
• Training less experienced workers.
Ensure the site has adequate materials and tools including scheduling of equipment and site deliveries.
• Work with the Project Managers/Supervisors and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure that work is done on time and within budget.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining on site safety guidelines.
• Manage storage of equipment’s and their safety.
• Work and coordinate with project engineer.
• Check attendance of all workers/ subcontractor.
• Plan daily and weekly activities as per project schedule and give to contractors.
• Inspection of completed works by client / consultant along with site engineer.
