Purpose of the Job:
To assist Project Manager & Construction Team in planning, scheduling, monitoring of Production and execution of Projects by ensuring quality, legal aspects, cost effectiveness and timely completion of projects
Role & Responsibilities:
1. To support Project Manager & Construction Team in planning, scheduling, monitoring and execution of Projects.
2. Prepare scope of work, co ordinate, plan, technical review & evaluation of major projects.
3. Liaise with cost discipline to ensure accurate and timely control and forecasting of man-hour budgets and ensure that the impact of all change requests are properly assessed and included in the schedules.
4. Prepare schedule, resources, and quantity progress and performance reports and other reports as required. Develop quantity installation curves for a specific discipline or specialty.
5. Develop and manage detailed project schedules covering activities from commissioning till completion.
6. To supervise project schedule, manpower and quantity reporting and to ensure the preparation and presentation of the Critical Items Action Report
7. Collection and input of overall project schedule data for progress and man-hour expenditure.
8. To interface with project site management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks.
9. To provide comments and recommendations for planning and scheduling requirements relative to staffing and project control.
10. Involve in tracking, preparation and reporting of project progress.
11. Responsible for variance analysis
12. Identify and report activities which have a critical or potential impact on the schedule
13. Assist in developing the schedule process, system and procedures to support the program.
14. Attend Weekly Progress Meeting with Client and Contractor and deliver Site Management Scheduler’s Report.
15. Promote collaborative information sharing with team members and contractors.
16. Support Estimation & QS team in pre bid and post bid activities.
17. Other responsibilities as assigned
