Job Purpose:
Responsible for keeping the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate, according to DHAMAN health and safety, infection control procedures, policies and manufacturer's instructions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proper cleaning of the various clinical tools to prevent patients’ infections.
- Perform clinical treatment room disinfection by handling instrument cleaning, sterilization/disinfection, and re-circulation.
- Collect, prepare and organize clinical tools and equipment for clinical procedures under the supervision of responsible Physician/Dentist.
- Adhere to manufacturer's specifications when sterilizing all clinical tools and equipment; to prevent any malfunctions and eliminate any errors in the sterilization process.
- Participate in the collection and distribution of both dirty and clean instruments to and from the Physicians/Dentists’ clinics.
- Follow protocols regarding biohazards, infection control, charting and emergencies to eliminate bio-hazardous threats.
- Arrange instrument trays prior to clinical procedures and surgeries, and ensure they are well sterilized to eliminate any infection possibilities.
- Handle the implementation of Physicians/Dentists’ clinics infection control plans, and maintain high degree of hygienic environment to meet DHAMAN’s internal standards.
