My client is one of the leading steel companies in the GCC and a manufacturer of Reinforced Steel
Rebars, possessing their own Steel Melting Plant and Rolling Mills in Kuwait.
Their vision is to aspire to achieve excellence, leadership and value within the steel manufacturing industry in Kuwait and Globally.
Due to a restructuring and change management programme, they are looking to appoint a Senior HR Manager - this role will be a key figure in their business with the following responsibilities:
-Enhance the recruitment process
-Design & Develop a Rewards & Recognition Program
-Enhance the Employee Engagement Program
-Enhance the Employee Well Being Program
-Update company and employee Salary Scales
-Enhance & Develop the Incentive Program
-Processes' Full Automation Paperless Transactions.
Expectations:
-Full understanding of the work environment (organizational management, policies, procedures,
employees’ structure and employees’ benefits).
-Full understanding of the Kuwaiti labor law, identifying gaps between the Law and Kuwait Steel’s present practice and initiating the filling of these gaps.
-Full adoption to working with the newly implemented ERP solution; SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), and follow-up on the presently undergoing work of full automation of HR processes.
-Implementing employees’ training program (presently under development).
-Implementing the new employee performance evaluation scheme
-Initiating the project of development of a new salary scale for Kuwait Steel.
-Finishing the project of full automation of all HR business processes.
-Implementing the program of Kuwaitization (presently under development).
-Following-up and monitoring of the implementation of KPI and BIBO project.
-Developing a program of employee rewards and recognition.
