Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operations of the warehouse right from receipt and storage transfer of spare parts to different locations; Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse and lead assigned resources towards supporting the spare parts sales business
- Plan for establishing the proposed central warehouse
- Initiate detailed planning including allocation of necessary floor space before the arrival of any spare parts consignment
- Assign resources for unloading and storing each consignment; while supervising the correct placement of consignment items in the designated space in the warehouse
- Take receipt of the consignment and inform IT Department upon arrival of each consignment for the purpose of issuing consignment number and generating Goods Receipt Slip (GRS)
- Check contents of each consignment upon receipt and highlight shortage/ excess/ damage of consignment
- Liaise with insurance companies for damage claims
- • Prepare principal claims based on the discrepancies received on the consignment note
- Ensure that all paperwork is complete and accurate for all incoming and outgoing spare parts
- Coordinate with branches as well as internal and external counter operations regularly to review the inventory movements/ parts usage at different locations.
