- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Billing Operations & Configurations Unit strategy and plans in order to ensure alliance with the company’s business line needs and objectives.
- Ensure that the department objectives are effectively communicated across the department and a line of sight is created between individual jobholders and the departmental / sector strategy.
- Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of the respective department by providing expertise, encouraging and ensuring teamwork and aligning work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and meet established targets and objectives and ensure employee engagement in a motivated work environment.
- Manage the entire billing process and provide customer focused billing support for the contact centre operations.
- Liaise with VIVA sectors and departments to effectively respond to business customer requests and any internal queries in order to ensure smooth processing of all Billing and Collection transactions and to provide value added contribution to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices while taking into account international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Oversee billing cycle and ensure generation of cycle reports and monitor cycle runs in order to ensure accuracy of bills.
- Incorporate tariffs plans and revisions and incorporate the same to run customer reports and identify Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure all lines have been activated and/or reactivated after bill settlements by customers to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all required documentation such as Customer IDs etc. are available for processing of information.
