The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
• The candidate will work directly with the Chairman & CEO to develop financial models for future projects
• Has strong finance background, preferably in a group structure
• Has a hands-on approach of management
• Strong managerial skills (directing, guiding, problem solving, communication, developing others)
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting, consolidation and reporting to the Group
• Solid experience in cash flow management
• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and in compliance with internal audit guidelines
• Experience with management reporting
• Experience in cost accounting is an asset
• Knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SAP, is an asset
• Develop with the Chairman & CEO the KPIs for the sectors heads and managers
- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
• Execute the financial strategy of the company.
• Manage financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company.
• Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner.
• Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
• Support the Chairman & CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
• Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
