Purpose and scope:
- Responsible for the day to day management of a Banking Group‘s financial analysis to prepare and distribute the reports for the management accurately and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures that daily / weekly / monthly the Banking Groups’ financial reports produce and monitors all such reports for its accuracy and production in time. Meet all queries raised on such reports with analytical solution and provides explanations.
- Analyzes and monitors monthly Management by Objectives (MBO) reports, Non-Interest Income reports and Operating expenses and explain any issues or variances including rectification to management.
- Generates various comparative and trend reports, by providing weekly & monthly comparison reports, Analyze and comments on variances.
- To co-ordinate the business development initiatives of the Unit Heads and RMs in Banking Group ensuring activities are complementary and that no opportunities for new business are missed.
- Co-ordinate in the annual Budget process for the Banking Group.
- Provides guidelines to the Banking Groups units in the preparation of the various units budgets as and when required.
- To support Banking Groups RMs to help ensure ability to meet Group/individual objectives.
- Subordinates on preparation of monthly, daily MIS reports reliable with the reporting methods in an accurate and timely manner to ensure appropriate financial management reporting.
- Maintains updated knowledge of rules, regulations and standards in the field and related matters of interest to the department
- Generates and escalates periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Participates in the various cross-functional committees/teams for multiple purposes to achieve optimal cooperation and to assume seamless quality service.
- Performs other duties in line with scope of work and as assigned by the direct manager.
