Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall design and illustrative, graphic and visuals for use in display or publications and collaboratively working with the department manager/director to realize a final product.
Key roles & responsibilities
Policies & Processes
Implement PR & Communication Department policies and follow the set processes in order to achieve the Department’s objectives.
Main Activities
- Prepare layouts, designs and art work as graphs, maps, charts, posters, logos, signs and report cover for use in publication and /or exhibition design.
- Coordinate all aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production.
- Maintain the highest standards in graphic design and produce creative content, for both print and digital, that accurately represents the expectations of Company business.
- Develop concepts for and design all materials, including direct mail, ads, postcards, newsletters, invitations, vouchers and coupons as needed.
- Design and execute a new look and feel across all digital and print material that accurately reflects new brand positioning.
- Design across all digital means such as website, web applications, advertising, electronic newsletters, banners, social media and other digital media.
- Make recommendations for design that enhance the variation, uniqueness, print features and brand differentiation.
- Maintain an advanced knowledge of software used for creating graphic designs and trends within design.
- Use innovation to redefine a design within the constraints of cost and time and present finalized ideas and concepts to the direct manager.
- Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as requested by the Direct Manager and support the Direct Manager in day to day marketing activities to ensure the ongoing success of the organization.
