- Develops, tests and maintains business applications and reports, making the best use of available technology to fully exploit each application and document all requirements and system manuals in accordance with agreed IT standards.
- Supports users both directly and via the Service Helpdesk in relation to various business systems. Liaises with IT colleagues and/or third-party suppliers in order to resolve technical issues.
- Assists with system/data integration and/or import and export routines between systems
- Promotes and sustains a constructive, supportive and friendly working relationship with all customers, external and internal, immediate and senior management and other work colleagues.
- Works on business improvement projects and internal IT projects, liaising with the Business Systems Analysts and where applicable other departments in the production of functional specifications.
- Assists with training all relevant staff in the usage of business systems to enable them to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
