Our client is a well-known F&B Holding Company looking to hire Managing Director to be based in Kuwait.
Primary Tasks:
• Design and develop the company business strategy.
• Provide guidance on strategic directions for different concepts within the business.
• Set guidelines for expansion and extension plans and follow up on implementation.
• Responsible for financial investment decisions and providing guidelines for budget allocations.
• Setting guidelines for operations strategies and potential manufacturing/Production expansions.
• Establish and maintain strong ties with various stakeholders in local and regional markets to support the business.
• Provide periodic informative business reports to higher management.
• Explore and develop business opportunities for expansion across the Middle East, including all research, assessment, feasibility, franchise negotiations and project initiating until operation phase.
• Supervision over quality standards assurance across all restaurant chains.
Level of Authority:
• Tasks are performed under the general direction of the Group CEO.
• Headcount planning decisions (hiring and termination of senior management levels).
• Actual hiring and termination decisions for direct reports (within the framework of the local labor law and contractual obligations).
• Financial investment, planning and budgeting decisions.
• Business expansion/strategy decisions.
• Major financial purchase decisions.
• Approval of appraisal ratings, bonus systems and salary increases for the whole company/BU within the guidelines approved from the CEO.
