• Responsible for closing the books and in producing monthly Profit & Loss statements.
• Maintaining all proper documentation for all financial matters such as Purchases, Fixed Assets Register, Disposals, etc.
• Reconcile, adjust and maintain Balance Sheet accounts such as prepaid expense, petty cash, accounts receivable, payroll related payables, loans and notes receivables, cash flow projections, deferred income accounts, etc.
• Compile, enter and post monthly adjusting journal entries.
• Responsible for payroll monthly journal entries and reconciling monthly reports.
• Responsible for the processing of the daily cash and other charge transactions.
• Continuously seeking improvements in accounting procedures and conducts reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Perform monthly bank and merchant reconciliation’s.
• Analyzes financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability
• Keeps abreast of laws and regulations that apply to a particular staff function or field of professional expertise to maintain up-to-date compliance with clear and precise documentation
