• Prepares preliminary and final drawings of engineering and architectural projects (buildings, structures, systems, equipment) for which the design characteristics are presented or standardized, and previous drawings of similar projects are available. • Do drafting assignment which is very complicated by the requirement for alternative views of components and features, and the presence of intricate details, cursed lines and configurations, and the necessary for consolidating details from number of sources. • Computes dimensions, determines placement, space and clearance requirements and selects and develops most advantageous views. • Arranges views in logical sequence, and prepares and correlates drawings. • Typical assignments may include drawings which involve detailing of foundation and floor plan, structural framework, mechanical and electrical components and systems, etc., where the AutoCAD Operator must adjust and transpose dimensional scales, and identity and emphasize important features through shading, cutaway views, and other drafting techniques.
