Path Solutions is looking to hire Technical Consultant for its development center in Shuwaikh, Kuwait.
Egyptian and Jordanian candidates will be preferred for this position.
As a Technical Consultant, you would be involved in maintenance and support of core banking solution.
Your major duties and responsibilities would be :
• Understand the product's client architecture and relevant mapping details to analyze and trouble shoot such issues reported by clients/ business consultants.
• Understand Sybase and Oracle client configuration details to analyze and provide support for such issues reported by clients/business consultants.
• Responsible for Analyzing and Simulating issues reported by the client.
• Identify if the issue is reported earlier and the solution provided towards it.
• Detailed analysis of the application trace log files to identify the possible cause of messages, missing columns and other type of issues.
• Collect and apply preliminary analysis on the queries hanging / performance delays, verify the database related table's indexes and communicate with ET to take needed action.
• Document details of Analysis and possible resolution to Level 2 for confirmation.
• Upon confirmation from Level 2, provide issue resolution to client.
• Preliminary technical analysis of Complex issues reported in applications. Provide the details of the analysis done to Senior Technical Consultant and to Level2 support for further analysis.
• Responsible for testing the respective application before a deliverable is given to client and coordinate with Business Support to ensure that client scenarios work well within the deliverable.
• Performs upgrade testing.
