Managing Legal team
1. Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the Legal department.
2. Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
3. Manage the relationship with outsourced legal firms across all countries
Managing Legal risk
1. Review all contractual agreements and assess potential legal implications which need to be brought to management attention
2. Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions whenever required
3. Coordinate with relevant departments to identify potential legal risks and related courses of actions
4. Provide legal advices whenever required
5. Manage trademarks registration process and provide required updates
Regulatory compliance
1. Identify business areas that needs to be in compliance with regulatory across all countries
2. Formulate compliance check-lists whenever applicable
3. Continuously monitor compliance with regulatory and advise management accordingly.
4. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for executive management
Litigation management
1. Review progress of outstanding litigation, coordinate and manage assigned external lawyers.
