1.1 Administrative
a) Administer requisition for maintenance supplies, special tools, test equipment and the like.
b) Direct work of personnel in his charge.
c) Prepare the required reports.
1.2 Operational
a) Coordinate work function of personnel in his area.
b) Implement the Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) maintenance program to meet maintenance goals at Site.
c) Organize and implement earliest completion of any major breakdowns in the fields.
d) Monitor work site to ensure safe working practices and conditions.
e) Carry out electrical tests utilizing modern test equipment.
f) Supervise modification works.
g) Inspect and check electric assets and reports abnormalities to Company personnel.
h) Carryout necessary studies and actual work for the enhancement of the system.
i) Train KNPC and contractor U.D. personnel (Kuwaiti’s).
j) Must be able to carryout rack in and rack out procedure.
k) Must be able to trouble shoot system equipment and carryout necessary repairs.
l) Must be able to use testing equipment.
1.3 Liaison
Liaise with other maintenance sections and the Company personnel in support of the work.
1.4 Planning
a) Maintain equipment overhaul records.
b) Assist in planning major overhauls.
c) Assist in preparing overhaul/workshop forecasts for parts, special tools, manpower requirements and the like.
d) Prepare time / attendance sheets.
