Purpose and Scope
The Customer Trade Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of Trade products in an operationally compliant, timely and efficient manner. Support and work with a team of colleagues and ensure that transactions are processed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepares and handles CTS related transactions, prioritizes tasks, monitors work progress and ensures standards and deadlines are met.
2. Learns and understands the technicalities involved in handling the trade products, the processes involved and the systems.
3. Refers and escalates the issues to the next level for any discrepancies or unusual items.
4. Ensures high customer service standards are maintained as per Service level agreements.
5. Refers overdue and expired transactions to senior officer.
6. Ensures transactions are processed as per the laid down procedures of the bank.
7. Ensures transactions are processed in compliance with the Central bank guidelines and policies.
8. Ensures transactions are processed error free.
9. Assists in the User Acceptance testing of system modifications.
10. Performs miscellaneous duties as job requires or/ and as instructed by the direct Manager. .
11. Ensures control plans are regularly updated.
