The Distribution manager oversees the entire distribution process of the newspaper, maintaining a network of drivers, retailers, marketing and public relations officers, and ensures that all the newspapers are distributed in a timely fashion.
a. Strong management, administrative and promotional skills.
b. Maintain and build paid circulation for daily newspaper.
c. Able to plan and execute successful promotional campaigns and monitor results, and do annual budgeting.
d. Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
e. Handling complaints, settling disputes, resolving and negotiating conflicts with subscribers.
f. Ability to develop statistic and monthly reports.
g. Prepare quotations and proposals.
