Build purchasing plan for the commercial department. the desried candidate should be able to obtain new products in the industry and able to widen our network.
Further, he/she negotiates venders & suppliers terms, prices and delivery schedules using his/her knowledge of budget, stock level, approved requisitions and schedule of requirements. Commercial executive also handles nonstandard products and seek for new business opportunities for the organization.
the responsibilities include the following :
• Monitor inventory stock level on daily and on regular basis and inform respective sales or concerned department for planning purposes.
• Produce commercial department reports related to monthly sales stock reports and other reports when and as required.
• Review and Analyze information from Branch Sales Managers regarding enquirer of new products or stock availability as received from commercial assistant.
• Evaluate Requisition forms received and send evaluation to commercial Assistant for standard items for processing within maximum 3 working days
• Collects required information on the requisitions and check stock level and conduct a search studying market history and market forecast before processing.
• Handel requests of nonstandard items / purchases when and as required
• Look for new business opportunities by initiating contact with new business leads/suppliers and ensure quality of their products
• Participate in meeting with suppliers and maintain relationships with them
