Purpose:
Develops, implements and coordinates the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Program. Maintain procedures to prevent unsafe working conditions and adverse environmental situations.
Responsibilities
· Provide guidance on the content of the HSE policy.
· Ensure the HSE policy is implemented and communicated to all employees
· Identify regulatory and permit requirements that apply to all company operations and activities
· Ensure that the company is in compliance with all regulatory and permit requirements
· Communicate applicable regulatory and permit requirements to relevant operations personnel
· Identify and respond to changes in facility operations or regulatory compliance requirements
· Lead process for ensuring input of environmental requirements in the planning and design of new or modified facilities and activities
· Maintain an HSE Training Plan to clearly identify training requirements for all employees
· Schedule and conduct HSE training
· Assist in the development and maintenance of HSE training records
· Communicate the audit findings to appropriate operations personnel and to the senior management team
· Coordinate with appropriate personnel the implementation of a corrective action program
· Track the status of all non conformance's, corrective actions, and root cause analyses
· Coordinate the investigation of all non compliance's with appropriate personnel
· Advise senior management regarding health, safety and environmental issues
