MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To be responsible for implementing VIVA’s public relations initiatives, creates, manages, and implements PR campaigns with the goal of enriching VIVA's position within the public eye and maintains strong relationships with media reps.
JOB OBJECTIVES
1. Assist in arranging public appearances, lectures, contests or exhibits for Executives to increase VIVA’s products and services awareness and to promote goodwill.
2. Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences, including employee newsletters and stockholders' reports.
3. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employees and public interest groups.
4. Ensure that all communication functions, platforms and venues deliver the same consistent message to support the image of the company and uphold its corporate social responsibility in the community.
5. Work collaboratively with the senior management, other communications specialists, suppliers, media and PR agencies to plan and implement actions pertaining to CEO business communications.
6. Work to secure effective company-wide communication channels including intranet, newsletter, SMS text, etc. to help communicate VIVA leadership correspondence to its employees.
7. Assist in creating and delivering press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content and speaking proposals.
8. Support and execute the preparation and circulation of VIVA’s Newsletter ensuring it captures major internal announcements about launching VIVA products, services and acquisitions.
9. Support Corporate Social Responsibility framework and guidelines to ensure that they are in line with VIVA’s corporate image and values as shared in the greater community, whereever VIVA operates.
10. Liaise with Marketing Communications as well as other units and PR agencies for successful implementation of all corporate Public Relations functions.
11. Generate regular and special reports for the PR Senior Manager that summarize and forecast business activities and financial position of the CEO Public Relation unit and escalate critical issues.
12. Liaise with VIVA sectors and departments to effectively respond to business customer requests and any internal queries in order to ensure smooth processing of all CEO business communication transactions, and to provide value added contribution to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
