- Analyze detailed project requirements and manage the preparation of a project master schedule/plan which integrates strategies and constraints for all project phases.
- Perform planning activities in a reliable and responsive manner.
- Manage the monitoring and reporting of progress against schedules using required elements of the integrated project control system and in line with contractual requirements.
- Prepare detailed logic diagrams as a basis for detailed level schedule reporting issues detailed activity schedules and expedite the return of schedule updating data.
- Analyze O & G's projects to plan the effective execution sequence based on current industry practices.
- Analyze schedule deviations and where possible, recommend remedial actions.
- Prepare manpower loading and work breakdown structure.
- Prepare project reporting for Project Control Manager, schedule risk analysis, progress and corrective actions and critical path analysis.
- Prepare and maintain, a requisition tracking system that meets the requirements of the Project Control Plan.
- Prepare and where appropriate, make presentations to project teams and client on schedule control methodologies and procedures used by the O & G.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety requirements, developing, reviewing and enforcing safe work practices.
- Stay abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues, through continued education and professional growth.
- Build effective communication between O & G and its employees.
- Supervise direct reporters in their day to day task and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling.
- Effectively allocate work to subordinates and nominate nominees for training as per Training and Development policies and procedures.
- Perform any other related activity as directed by the Project Control Manager.
