Job Title: Design Manager 
Plans, organizes, and directs the design activities for various projects;
 Thorough review and in depth study of the design guide lines;
 Analyze detail drawings and implement as fit in the various building locations;
 Assist in the preparation of staff deployment schedules taking into consideration available resources and project milestones and its specific requirements;
 Manage and lead the effort for the in-house Design teams and organize the efforts of the design groups to tally with the schedule of site activities and achieve the project planned targets;  Ensure an effective management process relating to submittals approval process, control, storage and distribution of material according to the project needs;
 Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality and cost effective service;
 Identify Design Risks for the project and identify potential means of risk mitigation;
 Identify Lessons learned from Previous Project to capitalize and provide Input in the New Design;  Review and analyze technical data in the projects such as drawings, specifications and BOQ. Assess, highlight and identify items that would generate cost and time implication;
 Prepare reports to top management regarding the design progress and its status;
 Coordinates design activities with other organizational department;
 Manages, develops and coordinates the design development process to ensure that deliverables are within the functional program, budgetary and contractual requirements;
 Manages a wide spectrum of projects through interaction with Design Managers & Design Coordinators.
 Assess, highlight and identify items that could generate cost and time implication.
 Performs other duties as assigned.
