MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To coordinate project teams within budget, guidelines, statutory requirements and Company procedures ensuring compliance with HSE policies and customer requirements satisfaction. To provide the team leadership skills necessary to accomplish the work by means of Engineers and subcontractors and manage the day to day field operations of construction projects in a timely cost effective manner.
JOB OBJECTIVES
1. To supervise field activities to ensure the project milestones and overall schedule completion date are met.
2. To obtain all inspections and ensure that quality aspects of the physical work are fully met and documented in accordance with client and project requirements.
3. To create short interval look-ahead work schedule and ensure upcoming event are communicated and tracked.
4. To supervise work teams for effective delivery of objectives and efficiency improvement.
5. To manage punch lists and project close out process to assure timely completion.
6. To enhance relationships in dealings with client, consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure all agreements are implemented.
7. To manage resources and equipment to achieve contract completion within budget and time.
8. To ensure Company’s Health, Safety & Environment and quality policy and procedures are implemented to client satisfaction.
9. To participate in regularly held meeting involving staff to discuss progress and risks.
