• Once the reporters decided their stories topic, news producer is able to manager story shooting arrangements between reporters & shooting crews, which may require sending them on location to shoot video or conduct interviews.
• Coordinate the coverage of multiple stories at once and monitor the progress of news teams.
• Execute daily news coverage and plan for major events.
• Responsible of reading newspapers, news wires, and monitoring other stations for potential stories
• Maintain the news room's calendar of events.
• Keep very good knowledge about everything that is happening in their coverage area on a given day and make sure that the important stories are getting covered.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once while maintaining a calm demeanor.
