Description
Oversee closing of FS monthly and preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly FS.
Coordinate with Banks for Treasury and Banking requirements.
Review Feasibility studies pre-and post-approval. Highlight variances accordingly.
Drive the consolidation process and coordinate with Statutory Auditors accordingly.
Drive the Budget and Forecast process with Operations and Support centers.
Oversee Taxation matters
Monitor Working capital and ensure Inventory, Receivables and Payables are properly monitored as per acceptable KPI's.
Oversee Treasury activities, buying and hedging of currencies and currency movements to reduce FX exposures.
Provide data to Internal Auditors for conducting support centers audit, ensure that Audit findings are actioned and closed.
Ensure accounting and accounting systems are in line with IFRS requirements, make modifications as required.
Support in VAT implementation and subsequent filings.
Ensure regular supplier reconciliations with local and foreign suppliers and ensure that rebates are received in time.
Oversee payroll and related activities.
Resolve issues relating to POS with ERP system and other vendors.
Identify opportunities in the business to reduce cost and increase revenue and profitability.
Conduct detailed monthly balance sheet reviews and identify risks and opportunities.
Manage cashflow and ensure that excess cash is invested in approved financial instruments.
Monitor CAPEX spends and ensure that appropriate ROI is achieved on all approved CAPEX spending.
Ensure compliance with Authority Matrix in the organization with all matters relating to Finance.
Ensure quarterly Inventory count and reconciliations and highlight slow moving stock to Operations and Supply Chain
Profile
Qualified CA - essential
Business experience with a global multi-national corporation - essential
Available to live and work in Kuwait (2 months notice maximum)
15 years + Finance experience - technically strong accountant
Hands on with strong communication skills in English & Hindi
Must have managed a team of 20 + staff
Job Offer
approx 3,000 to 3,500 KWD (42,000 AED) per month + schooling, tickets, medical & bonus
