• Participates in planning of company contracting process, publishing tenders and coordinating with other departments regarding tenders and contracts.
• Prepare contract documents, review contract clauses to ensure Owner’s rights in achieving best services according company rules and regulations at minimum cost.
• Receive bids, evaluate offers from commercial and technical point of view as required from time to time and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Study and review user recommendations on the results of bid evaluation.
• Participate in pre-tender meeting and answer contractor’s questions.
• prepare any variation order if required
• Contact the successful bidder for preparation of final contract document for signature, ensure submission of performance bonds as per company requirements and other insurance requirements.
• Follow up proper execution of the contracts including site visits when necessary.
• Follow up and update contractor and vendor list and keep records of the same.
• Prepare contracts statistics and periodical progress reports of contracts team activities.
• Works as per established procedure and technical standards.
• Help in the preparation of budget estimates for the company's annual contracts, and collects data and information needed for that.
• Connection with departments concerned to identify the specifications, quantities and quality of services, materials and equipment to be contracted to consider that in the stages of contracting and tendering.
• The memoranda of the tender and qualification requirements and the call for tenders for companies and institutions and to enable them to progress the company offers for tenders.
• Participate in the evaluation of proposals and review the documents and tender documents and ensure compliance with the requirements and regulations
• Involved in negotiating with suppliers and contractors about the breach of the terms of their tenders or contracts and work to find appropriate solutions to ensure the rights of the company.
• Participate in the work of research into contracts to learn about the new international formulation and specification of the public or private.
• Renew the records of contractors and suppliers and the preparation of statistics and annual contracts and periodic reports on the progress of work in the Section.
• Preparation of Contracts Status report.
