I need to hire a newly graduate (Bachelor/ Diploma) Merchandising Executive (Male - Kuwait Labor Market) to lead a team of merchandisers for our Food FMCG disribution company in Kuwait.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Accountable for pushing of the business forward through proposing new ways of working and planning and be the driving force in implementing.
- Prepare the merchandise plan as per the season, brand & category wise (planogram).
- Allocate the merchandise to sites as per the requirements and replenish as per demand.
- Coordinate with warehouse to have a check on the stock & maintain inventory at optimum level with Identify opportunities & manage the process for transfer of stock in the market.
- Ensure stock issues are highlighted early and agree action plan with Sales Dept.
- Coordinate with the Sales Dept. to obtain info about the customer's needs & preferences.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team on the daily market transactions/ issues.
- Visit sales sites to ensure all merchandise are available as per requirement & track on the moving and nonmoving items.
- Coordinate the planning process for areas, working with the Head of Sales & the sales team and provide support as required.
- Work in conjunction with the Sales Dept. to influence strategies and to monitor stock and commitment and make recommendations to highlight risks and minimize markdown.
- Approve the proposed grading from the trading Merchandiser for input into the assortment planning process (implementation of POSM).
- Ensure merchandising plans tie in with the efficiency monthly report (provided by Finance).
- Ensures suppliers’ terms are utilized to hit company targets.
- Making sure every item of stock gets to its destination on time, and that there are no shortages on shelves.
- Plan delivery time-scales in line with when stock is required and link to company cash flow.
- Interview and hire employees with handling staff On-Job-Training.
