• To provide effective technical maintenance support to stores and facilities and ensure that maintenance activities are carried out promptly and in accordance with established plans
• Defining the strategic guidelines for maintenance - outsourcing vs. internal services, local vs. regional, etc
• Participating and contributing to defining the maintenance budget, scope of maintenance, outsourcing etc.
• Performing periodic assessment of maintenance costs versus budget allocations and making periodic updates as needed
• Defining policies, procedures and standards for maintenance at stores and offices in coordination with other Countries and Corporate Operations
• Developing maintenance plans - preventive and scheduled - for stores and offices in conjunction with Corporate Operations and ensuring effective management of equipment cards for all equipment, stores/offices and facilities and maintaining proper records
• Participating in assessing and selecting local and regional suppliers and negotiating regional contracts for maintenance works
• Ensuring provision of effective technical support to all countries' maintenance teams
• Assisting the Design and Construction team in the development of electrical and mechanical requirements; assessing effectiveness of operation and costs, sourcing materials and equipment - procurement of Refrigeration system, conveying Systems, counters, fixtures, etc
• Supervising, following-up and ensuring effectiveness of operational energy saving programs and any other company Engineering & Maintenance initiative.
• Setting & Implementing up a 'Safety' system.
