A self development and motivational center in Kuwait is looking for a Psychologist to join their team!
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Reporting to the Head of Therapists, the Psychologist will be responsible for providing services to patients in relation to the prevention, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of Psychiatric and mental health conditions.
* He/she will be responsible for the management and development of a counseling service program along with the required multi-pronged set of actions with emphasis on proactive and preventative strategy, predominantly deploying psychotherapy and counseling skills, to ensure the mental health and well-being of the patient.
* Working collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary teams and settings, including the staff and representatives of the organization to set-up an elaborate mental health program.
* Working proactively and preventatively for the identification of patient-needs in relation to their mental health and well-being.
* Ensuring appropriate provision of the counseling support to the patient and staff communities on an ongoing basis through a comprehensive psychological counseling program.
* Developing relevant policies and procedures in relation to the day-to-day operation of these counseling services and ensuring that these policies and procedures are in line with the local statutory and professional requirements and with the best practice guidelines.
* Managing the day-to-day operation of and providing the counseling services in line with the established policies and procedures.
* Developing strategies to address the counseling needs both for individual and group psychotherapies, negotiating appropriate resources for them and prioritizing and balancing the actions with respect to the varying demands and available resources.
