JOB DESCRIPTION
Directly report to the Group General Manager, this full-time employee ensures compliance with employment laws while directing the human resources functions for the library systems, including benefit administration, personnel policy/ procedure development, and selection, orientation, training and evaluation of staff. Other essential duties and responsibilities:
• Control passport movement with database, vacations, turnover, staff budget, employee passport releasing, disciplinary action proceeding, performance evaluation and other personnel matter in both paper and date base and ensure all employment requirements are met.
• Assisting supervisors and managers with implementation of employee performance evaluation program and assist with disciplinary proceedings.
• Plans, coordinates and administers and established the staff budget annually. Counsels staff regarding retirement thru exit interviews, promotional possibilities, transfers, etc.
• Maintains job descriptions, prepare job offers, salary certificate and contracts.
• Maintains awareness of developments and trends in the profession through email meetings, and advising Operation managers and supervisors, as needed such as baladiya schedules, passport renewals, employee transfer etc.
• Maintains records of employees such as payroll, leaves, turnover rates, Warning letter, reimbursements, contracts, Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or request and provide assistance from day day transaction with employees.
• Overall liaise with other departments and functions (payroll and Philippine Embassy)
• Formulate methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes to management.
• Over all point of contact in any HR related concerns, issues and subject matter, directly communicate with the different departments (Personnel, mandoop, operations, accounts an d legal department) for all employee related concerns.
• Supervises hiring process by posting/advertising positions, collecting and evaluating applications, checking references, interviewing candidates with supervisors, hiring applicants. Overall in-charge with end to end recruitment
• Coordinate with other department sections to ensure that visas, transfer documents, employment offers, work contracts, tickets, housing, salary advance for new arrivals, and relevant employment documents are authorized and properly submitted to payroll section for action
• Coordinating between recruitment agencies in Philippine, India, Syria and Lebanon; and between our Company offices in Kuwait and Bahrain, in order to employ staff that is medically and professionally fit to work.
• Coordinating with mandoup department regarding issuing visas, transferring applicants from company to another as local Hire, renewing residencies, and other governmental procedures.
