Main Objectives:
- To undertake procurement process re-engineering activities to develop, implement and improve procurement processes in order to improve customer satisfaction, reduce cost, reduce cycle time and reduce process defects by use of innovative concepts and performance standards.
- To undertake planning, management and development of company warehouse and material control operations in accordance with the business needs and policies and procedures of the company.
Job Objectives:
1. To devise departmental business plans for the Procurement Department & Stores in conjunction with other relevant operational divisions to ensure Company strategic objectives are met.
2. To manage comprehensive procurement activities from negotiating contractual conditions, finalizing issuance of contracts, purchase requisitions, orders and managing payment formalities.
3. To regularly improve existing procurement processes to introduce global best practices and concepts.
4. To ensure smooth running of all procurement functions by ensuring compliance, facilitating problem resolution and instituting a mechanism to de-bottleneck processes encountered for major procurement issues.
5. To conduct forecast and demand analysis to ensure procurement of right quantities in line with set standards.
6. To regularly identify new sources of supply managing the vendors by implementing a periodical evaluation system.
7. To manage and supervise all Warehouse and Store administrative and operational activities in line with company’s policies and procedures.
8. To lead the material control and warehouse operations efficiently and ensure regular reviews and audits are conducted and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
9. To ensure overall cost efficiency and cost reduction by managing inventory movements/ transactions, monitoring scrap/wastage and timely disposal.
10. To promote and implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations and standards within the Warehouses and Stores and develop programs and activities to improve them.

12. To monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in the Supply Chain operations and ensure performance levels are achieved and improved over time.
13. To maintain awareness of new technologies and products that will increase the efficiency of all works and continuously devise and improve methods to obtain best prices in the market.
14. To develop a professional and open relationship with suppliers and clients whilst ensuring the interests of the company are protected and to actively pursue the broadening of supplier base.
