Applied Behavior Center of Kuwait (ABC) provides early intervention services to children with autism and related disorders. ABC offers highly effective researched educational programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABC provides a full range of educational, home-based, and center - based treatment programs designed to help children with autism and other related developmental disabilities under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Speech therapists are responsible for assessing speech deficits for each child, recommending programs to target deficits, meeting with teams for agreement, and activating all necessary speech programs and IEP development. All speech therapists must undergo ABA trainings and follow ABA guidelines and protocols. Using a consultative model, speech therapists will be scheduled for weekly sessions with children to run specific targets, and will train other therapists to run those programs on other days.
This position supervises a Bachelors-level speech therapist and is responsible for all coordination between teams and personnel. Parent communication is also required.
