- Prepare audit planning documents (audit program, audit objectives, audit scope and audit methodology) for internal audit assignments of the firm and ensure effective implementation of audit plan.
- Ensure that audit engagements are performed with proficiency and due
professional care.
- Perform field work as per audit plan that will include evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control structure for various processes and accounting cycles, assessing risk exposures and offer value added and viable solutions to mitigate control gaps.
- Ensure that audit assignment is completed on timely basis and as per audit plan.
- Update and inform firm management, about the status, key concern areas
observed during the execution of audit.
- Maintain audit work papers and sufficient evidence for the reported observations as per best practices and standards.
- Prepare audit reports ensuring correctness & quality of the audit observations.
- Follow up of management responses and finalization of report.
- Assist other team members in carrying out planning and execution of internal audit assignments
