1. People Management
a. Hold daily/ weekly/monthly staff meetings to keep employees motivated and informed of business operations
b. Properly manage employees including; training, developing, setting expectations, and disciplining
c. Give specific performance feedback to each employee on a regular basis
d. Coordinate hiring and retention of all personnel
2. Logistics:
a. Ensure low utilization fleet is moving to potential regions based on historical data.
b. Ensure that documents for transfers with GCC are ready and permits are on hand for movement of the fleet.
c. Foresee possible problems in transportations or at customer sites and ensure that, equipment is delivered safely and on time.
3. Operations:
a. Supervise and coordinate the operations and personnel to maximize productivity, market share, revenue and profit
b. Review all contracts raised on a daily basis; i.e., creations, amendments, suspensions, and terminations
c. Proactive fleet management to maximize revenue and minimize asset costs
d. Ensure Salesmen and Rental Managers are aware of slow moving equipment
e. Ensure that Service Manager is aware of all equipment not available for rent
4. Budgets:
a. Forecast demand, utilization, and financial performance
b. Accurately forecast location financial outcome based on projected rental volume
5. Customer Support:
a. Handle or assist in the resolution of customer service issues
b. Maintain a high level of customer service ideally above the set CSI.
c. Execute effective sales strategies to goal achievement and maintain a high standard of customer service.
d. Address customer issues on time.
6. Transportation
a. Direct and organize all equipment deliveries and collections
b. Monitor and advice on optimum transport fleet size and movement in GCC
7. Ability to Supervise and lead a team.
