Main Responsibilities :
- Developing high impact economic analyses that inform the company strategic goals and policies, and providing the economic considerations for the company strategic planning and refinement.
- Serves as a senior economic advisor to the CEO, providing advice as a technical authority on complex, mission critical areas where topics have little or no precedent and broad implication.
- Analyzing and commenting on the major transactions in the local and global markets that will affect the company business, transactions, and operations. This will include the mega M&As, changes in monetary and fiscal policies, geopolitical issues, etc.
- Analyzing and commenting on any changes to the market infrastructure or designs and advise on the economic effects of such changes.
- Advise the CEO about the economic effect of new products on the market, and on anticipating the best time for rolling out such new products from economical perspective. This will include supporting the CEO to review any proposals prepared by the Markets Sector.
- Provides economic expertise to all executives and generates high impact thought leadership in the regional macro-economics, as well as key industry sectors.
- Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates global and regional economic trends and financial and economic developments that have a direct bearing on the work.
- Manage the capital request, budgeting processes and developing performance measures that support the company's strategic directions.
- Represents the firm in meetings and as a coordinating link with regulators, high-level economists and financial analysts, securities/equities analysts, and members of the academic community.
- Responsible for directing, planning, and conducting research, and economic policy and analyses to assess and project the short- and long-term impact of issues and trends in the macro-economy and key industrial sectors.
- Preparing periodic reports including global and regional markets analysis and identifies emerging issues and develops position papers on these issues.
- Evaluates the day to day research done by the company.
