Our client is a leading LEBANESE Restaurant having several chains in Kuwait is seeking for a Purchase Manager
1.Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing department including inventorying, ordering, receiving and distributing all food and beverage items; maintaining the food and beverage storerooms, providing timely and accurate financial reports such as month end inventories and monitoring all shipping.
2. Management responsibilities include the food and beverage storeroom along with shipping and receiving staff.
3.Maintain a daily and monthly record of food and beverage purchases.
4. Maintain a cumulative monthly record of issued food and beverage items to the various outlets and departments.
5. Monitor procedures for issuing food and beverage items from storerooms to ensure merchandise is issued only on written requisitions by authorized personnel.
6. Coordinate and monitor the shipping and receiving of all guest and hotel packages to insure timely and accurate delivery of all nonfood parcels.
7. Write purchase orders as needed for equipment and supplies, Develop “volume buying” contracts with key vendors.
8. Organize and assign staff to promote the timely and proper completion of daily job duties.
9.Cross train and develop staff to encourage job growth within the company.
10. Overall responsibility to insure storerooms meet minimum local health codes
