• Lead factory production and maintenance personnel in day to day activities to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Ensure the efficient processing of incoming recyclable materials while maintaining end product quality standards.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs of all material handling systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Works with Factory Maintenance Supervisor in planning, budgeting, organizing resources, executing work plans, monitors production and quality, co-ordinates priorities, resolves issues and participates in special projects and work schedules.
• Hire, direct, coach and mentor staff to ensure performance targets are being met.
• Ensures that all staff subordinates are suitably trained/ qualified/ licensed for the various tasks and jobs they must complete.
• Plans, organizes, implements and monitors work schedules/external suppliers consistent with the normal needs of the plant and special projects.
• Ensure site compliance to all labor, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare management reporting as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assume full responsibility for achieving the production plan in a timely manner and in accordance with the required quality standards and the agreed specifications, while following health and safety instructions.
• Ensure following quality standards of the different stages of production and ensure compliance with product specifications, as well as finished products, packaging and packing until delivery to the end consumer with the highest quality.
• Achieve ultimate cost reduction goals, allocated to the production process.
• Develop a training plan for employees according to the needs of each function, in coordination with the human Resources department.
• Developing annual Budget (including CAPEX, OPEX, and Headcount) for the plant’s production hall trough coordination with the plan manager and various departments inside the plant.
• Implementing production plans provided by the planning department.
• Define the objectives of the production plan to be translated to production projects aiming at reaching the maximum capacity of production lines.
• Coordinate with the warehousing department to ensure the availability of raw materials and quantities required for production in day to day operation.
• Work on improving production efficiency according to the company’s overall objectives, through coordinating with the planning and maintenance departments to manage maintenance and production schedules.
