To drive sales and achieve profitability targets by managing branch operations and delivering high quality service to customers.
People Management

1. Manage the effective achievement of objectives through setting individual objectives for branch staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and the overall performance.
2. Ensure that Branch staff are well-trained applying the most recent processes and procedures and coordinate with Sales Support and HR to conduct training in order to ensure high degree of customer focus.
Budgets & Plans
 
• Prepare and recommend the budget for the managed branch in line with corporate planning and budgeting guidelines, monitor actual expenditure against the approved budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenue and corrective actions are taken.
Branch Management
1. Drive sales culture within managed branch, develop sales plans (in line with targets) and work with branch staff to implement it.
2. Allocate sales targets to branch staff and plan sales activities to ensure the achievement of the targets.
3. Drive cross selling and ensure that branch staff captures all sales opportunities and communicate them to Sales Support and other relevant parties for conversion.
4. Consolidate (at the branch level) and review lead generation, sales targets and incentives forms and communicate the same to Area/Regional Manager.
5. Execute segment value propositions and fulfillment of all service elements ensuring consistency of customer experience in own branch.
6. Develop and maintains strong professional relationships with existing and new customers to ensure that their banking needs are being met and promote additional products and services of the bank for their consideration.
7. Meet key customers in the Branch, as time permits, with a view to strengthening relations with key customers and listens to their feedback and initiates actions as appropriate.
8. Track performance effectiveness of campaigns, gather customer feedback and communicate to Area/Regional Manager to ensure that improvements can be made to future campaigns.
9. Execute roles assigned by Sales Support and Segment Management in a campaign roll out to ensure that the planned campaign is successful and achieves its business objectives.
10. Promote bank products effectively in the Branch through displays, literature and personal interaction with customers in order to project a professional image and enhance the awareness of Client customers on various products offered.
11. Ensure that all financing applications are routed to Retail Credit in a timely manner.
12. Communicate list of delinquent customers to Retail Collection.
13. Implement corrective actions suggested by Sales Support to improve sales.
14. Ensure that Branch cash levels meet bank guidelines.
Customer Relations & Service Quality

1. Ensure that all customer complaints are captured and communicated to Customer Complaints team in a timely manner.
2. Monitor the quality of service delivered by Branch staff (as per KPIs) and take corrective action where necessary ensuring superior customer experience.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

1. Implement approved functional policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
2. Oversee the implementation of SLAs with Retail Credit (and other relevant parties) to ensure smooth coordination and clear rules of engagement.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment

1. Coordinate with Retail Support as required in order to ensure proper maintenance of infrastructure and facilities and discuss requirements with Area/Regional Manager to ensure the branch is equipped to operate efficiently.
2. Maintain registers, combinations and back-up keys for vault, safe and ATM keys safely and as per security rules.
