To conduct the audits of clients of the Firm, and report to the Supervisor/Manager of any critical issues identified during the course of the audit, as well as ensuring that the work is done in accordance with the Audit Methodology
1. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients satisfaction
2. Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment
3. Monitor engagement economics by identifying and explaining variances from plan
4. Monitor component progress to ensure expectations are met through initiating discussions with service team and obtaining on-going feedback from client
5. Use current technology to research and analyze issues
6. Conduct interactive interviews to obtain and clarify perceptions, define issues, assess options and gain consensus
7. Prepare initial draft of reports or other client and external communications
8. Collaborate with other team members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents
9. Communicate ideas/opinions and information to the audit teams and listen/respond to other team members views
10. Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
11. Direct fieldworks daily, inform supervisors/managers of the engagement status, and manage staff performance
12. Develop people through effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to staff
13. Provide performance feedback and training, and conduct performance reviews
14. Share knowledge with team members (e.g. share best practices, provides on-the-job training)
15. Develop an understanding of the Firms service lines and actively seek/encourage team members to contribute ideas and identify opportunities to apply the Firms services
16. Identify and discuss risks with Team Manager on a timely basis
17. Make recommendations that reflect understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and risks inherent to clients business/industry
18. Effectively and proactively utilize basic capabilities of audit technology tools and other firm standard technologies to perform and document work in assigned areas
19. Develop understanding of client industries and identify value added recommendations
20. Responsible to the engagement manager for day to day client contact and conduct of audit work
21. Any other task reasonably assigned to the staff member and within their skill set
