DUTIES:
Provides the highest standard of medical care for the patients for whom he/she is responsible.
Participates in the management of the physical and manpower resources of the Department to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in the planning of further developments in the department.
Oversees regular medical audit of the patients within his/her care. Ensure high performance and good hospital income.
Shares emergency calls with other consultants.
Provides support and advisory functions to the Chief of Pediatric on planning and development of clinical services.
Observes the rules and regulations, instructions, and exclusions of insurance company and sponsors.
Obtains authorization and permission from sponsors and insurance companies to perform medical procedures, treatment, admission, etc…
Completes outpatient and inpatient medical reports required by insurance companies and sponsors per their instruction.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
Participates pediatric meetings and general hospital activities, e.g. symposiums, etc…
