The National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Kuwait Office is looking for Treasury Officer - Global Markets within Wholesale Banking Division to carry out day to day activities of the branch’s Treasury Operations in Kuwait in accordance with the Dealing Mandate, issued.
Responsibilities not restricted to
- Maintain Dealers Blotter for FX and reconcile cash flow in KD and other foreign currencies to provide support to find better placement or acceptance opportunities.
- Prepare Exchange and Interest Rates in consultation with the Treasury Manager and in accordance with the set formula.
Tasks
- The ideal candidate should be able to assist/support Manager, Treasury maintaining KD Book of the branch to ensure compliance with CBK regulations on Loan to Deposit Ratio, Liquidity Ratio and to handle Placements and Borrowing to achieve best results
- Maintain proper records reserve instruments to ensure adequate holding in Treasury Bills, Bonds and CBK Bond market and to report to the Treasury Manager.
- Report FX Trades to cover the Exchange position resulting from Customer dealings and to manage it profitably under the limits accorded by Central Bank.
- Assist Manager Treasury in preparing proposals on Assets and Liability hedging and to ensure effective execution in consultation with HO Treasury
- The candidate must be well conversant with AML and CFT and Sanctions requirements and ensure the requirements strictly complied with. Be aware of latest rules and requirements under the respective laws and Sanctions.
- Ensure self and other staff in the department takes regular training in AML and CFT at least once a year conducted by professional institutions and other trainings from Local Institute of Banking studies and those available on-line forms the NBAD Academy
