Ensure the efficient and effective management of the Events team towards attainment of the overall team goals, objectives; develop, motivate, support effective sales team.
Develop and negotiate individual, group/or catering bookings through direct sales calls, special promotions, or any other activities with the Sales & Marketing Department to achieve objectives for Events sales volume and associated revenues;
Set and develop goals to meet them and seeks out sources of new business.
Prepare and customize sales proposals and service contracts to reflect the requirements of prospective clients; negotiates rates and prices within established guidelines; maintains documentation of all proposals, quotes, correspondence and contracts related to prospective sale [s] and sales accounts.
Maintains contact with active accounts to promote repeat business; follow up periodically with former accounts to identify further need for hospitals services and to solicit return business.
Prepare recurrent statistical reports which reflect all Event sales activities for the period; projects recaps and revises individual account revenues to provide timely and accurate data for inclusion in consolidated division forecasts.
Attend regular meetings to discuss the process toward achieving business plan goals.
Identify Event sales opportunities and to receive information on upcoming marketing packages; special events, holiday themes and related marketing/sales activities.
Keep abreast of local hospitality market so as to be better informed of marketing opportunities for business trends which could have a direct/indirect effect on future Event sales; keep management aware of such information for use in formulating sales strategies and in future planning efforts. Perform related duties as required.
Create/ motivate, develop, retain the Event sales team spirit; plan; supervise and evaluate work; develop; communicate; follows up; perform, lead/ demonstrate Kallista Holding / AL Jarra standard of sales services to ensure the team heading to achieve the division’s mission statement.
Customer Service and Relations: The ability to determine and understand the customers’ wants, how the work unit can meet the customers’ needs, and the ability to ensure that work methods and procedures support quality service delivery.
Ability to take charge and initiate actions; to solve problems using continuous improvement ways /tools and processes; and to assume total ownership of the business unit’s goals, objectives, tasks and results. Also, the ability to create and maintain a workplace that encourages and allows everyone to contribute to achieve success.

Must have long / extensive experience to meet the demand of Kuwaiti Society.
