- Compiles and analyzes the financial and management information for submission to the CEO and MD.
- Oversee the financial management of the company’s operations.
- Handle the full spectrum of the financial and cost accounting role (eg. P&L, BS, forecasting, budgeting).
- Responsible for day to day finance, accounts and banking operations (including banks reconciliation, budgeting, reporting and controlling the assets).
- Supervises the closing of the monthly and year-end accounts
- Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
- Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing policy and procedures.
- Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems.
- Ensures that the company accounts are maintained in English and Arabic to recognized international standard.
- Ensure that all accounting practices comply with the Accounting standards and the Company policy.
- Deals with Banks on a regular basis regarding utilization of working capital facilities.
- Performs other functions, which may be assigned by the CEO and the Managing Director.
- Responsible for fixed assets control and verification.
- Responsible for following finance and accounting policies in his area of work (i.e. General Ledger/Bank work, fixed asset accounting).
- Interacts with external audit staff to ensure effective and timely completion of audit.
