To manage the business library through maintaining all policies, processes and procedures and ensuring that they are documented and updated at all times in coordination with the other relevant functions and stakeholders within client.
Strategic Contribution
In conjunction with the head of Business Excellence, formulate/provide inputs and lead the implementation of the business excellence strategy, while focusing on the business library priorities in line with Client’s vision, mission and corporate objectives.
People Management
Manage the effective achievement of the Business Library objectives through the leadership of the Business Library team and the setting of individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate performance.
Organization Structure
Recommend an optimum organization structure in coordination with Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Manpower Planning for the Business Library so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner. 
Budgets and Plans
Recommend the Business Library budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
 
Policy, Procedures, Business Library
· Act as the main custodian of BoD approved policies & Management approved procedures across Client’s Group and ensures that they are documented and updated at all times.
· Ensure that pan bank processes are documented and that employees, auditors and other relevant functions use the latest version of policies & procedures (P&P).
· Define access privileges to P&P and actively maintain the live Business Library Portal for Client’s Group.
· Ensure close coordination with Business Process Improvement team to add/ replace new/ updated policies, process, procedures in the library.
· Ensure policies and guidelines strictly adhere to the specific regulatory instruction and requirements where Client’s international banking subsidiaries / affiliates operate.
· Assist business lines and support functions across Client Group in developing/ updating policies, process, procedures and SLAs in line with corporate standards.
· Coordinate with business lines across Client’s Group for the set-up of various governance entity charters ( Group Committees, Kuwait Committees and Working Groups).
 
Internal Collaboration
· Maintain close coordination with Business Process Re-engineering to add/ replace new/ updated policies, process, and procedures in the library.
· Maintain regular communication with the different functions in order to ensure that all policies, process, and procedures are documented and updated in coordination with the BPR team.
 
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment
Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Business Library to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude.

· Key decisions having significant impact on the Business Library are referred to the Head of Business Excellence for approval before implementation.
· The jobholder exercises financial and operational authority as per the level established by the Client’s management and stipulated in the authority matrix.
