This position will be on local contract and will report into the Country Manager- Kuwait.
Job description
- Manage Kuwait branch accounting functions including: customer accounts, Inventory, suppliers’ payments and monitoring cash flow to adhere to Jotun financial standards
- Maintenance of accurate accounting records, accounts books, receivables and inventories in a proper and timely manner to ensure complying with audit requirements
- Reconcile control and bank accounts in addition to compiling bank reconciliation statements, monthly financial and cost variance reports to ensure subsidiary ledgers are matched with control accounts
- Assist the Country Manager of Kuwait in monthly budgeting process, financial strategy and business review by providing the necessary information and financial analysis needed for business decision making
- Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties like banks and auditors to meet financial set objectives and adhere to local rules and regulations
- Report the financial statements online via Hyperion Financial Management to Dubai office on a monthly basis
